Travel Shanghai

Shanghai is a vibrant Chinese city buzzing with life and excitement. The industrial center of China, Shanghai offers bustling adventure and hot entertainment as well. If you’re headed to Shanghai, here are some tips to make your trip the best it can be.

Stay away from Shanghai during the Chinese New Year if at all possible. During this celebratory time, traffic comes to a complete halt and the streets are packed with revelers. However, the remainder of the winter season offers a great opportunity to visit the city when it’s not packed with tourists. In the colder months, you’ll pay less for your accommodations as well. Summer is of course the most popular time to visit, if you can deal with the heat, humidity and crowding. Fall and spring are both amazing seasons in which to visit Shanghai, because the weather is temperate and there are lots of fun outdoor festivals and activities to enjoy.

The dining experiences you’ll find in Shanghai are not to be missed. You can of course find delicious Chinese cuisine, in addition to dishes that you remember from back home. Dining in Shanghai is a social experience, and is enjoyed by locals and tourists alike.

Check out some of the exciting nightlife Shanghai has to offer. No matter what your preference when it comes to entertainment, you can find it in Shanghai. And after you’ve danced and partied the night away, you can return to one of Shanghai’s fantastic hotels. There are quaint accommodations that offer intimacy and charm, or large chain hotels that feature the ultimate in luxury and style.

For a bit of culture, check out some of Shanghai’s museums. Or shop til you drop in one of this gorgeous city’s many stores, boutiques and malls. Shanghai is a bustling city filled with beauty and life everywhere you look. Once you visit, you’ll understand why so many travelers flock to Shanghai.
