Dallas

When you are on vacation, you want to have a great place to rest your head. If you really want to enjoy yourself, spend a few extra dollars a night and stay at The Adolphus. The word that comes to the minds of the customers at The Adolphus is “delight”. From the time you arrive, to the time you leave, your experience will be heavenly and full of enchantment. This is most certainly the best get away within walking distance of the hot spots in Dallas. The price is a little high, but you definitely get what you pay for.

When traveling, it is always the best idea to find a great place to dine. After all, going on a trip is all about enjoying yourself and that most certainly encompasses good eats. Jeroboam has a wide selection of fantastic salads, soups and entrées. Their very talented chef will take very good care of your meal. Also, the wine selection is truly superb. Jeroboam’s atmosphere is very stylish and relaxing. The prices are a bit steep, but you are simply paying for the experience and excellent catering of the staff.

For the shopper in the family, the West End Maketplace is the supreme hot spot to break in your wallet. On Friday and Saturday nights, make sure to visit the West End Comedy Theater. You will be sure to laugh yourself silly. After you have had a night of laughs, you should head over to have a few drinks at Gators. They have strong drinks and often have a piano player that is sure to get you dancing on your bar stool. The overall ambiance of the West End Marketplace is best enjoyed at night time. Some consider it to be one of the finest attractions in Dallas, Texas.

For those who are of the upper class and appreciate the finer things in life, the Dallas Museum of Art should be a proper fix. If you are in the mood for some wonderful music at night, Jazz Under the Stars at the museum will fill your needs. Every Thursday night in June, you can enjoy the sounds ranging from fusion, to salsa. With a central site and a variety of exhibits, the museum is an ideal place to visit in Dallas.

For the monkeys in the family, it is time to find them a good home. The Dallas Zoo is a great place for the kids. The animals are all up close and very personal. However, it is recommended that you purchase a family membership because it will take at least two, or three visits to see everything. Another place to visit for the animals is the Dallas World Aquarium and Zoological Gardens. From manatees, baby hammerhead sharks, to penguins, there are many exhibits to see and enjoy.

Dallas has everything to appease the shopper and the animal in the family. The Dallas Arboretum, Greenville Avenue, Reunion Tower and White Rock Lake, make Dallas a sure spot to visit for your next vacation.
