Orlando

If you’re looking for non-stop fun, Orlando is the place to go. With Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios and over twenty five million visitors a year, Orlando is the place to be. A farming town in 1970, Orlando has evolved into a busy city, but remains free of commercialism.

Orlando is host to many attractions, including parks, gardens, golf and more. One of the most popular attractions that Orlando has to offer is Universal Studios Florida. Films and movie stars come alive while you’re at the park. Universal Studios has something to please and satisfy everyone, making it a great family attraction. It offers a wide variety of roller coasters and rides that will scare you, thrill you, or make you wish you hadn’t eaten dinner. The park also offers dining, shopping and live entertainment, resulting in over 40 attractions.

Orlando is also host to SeaWorld, one of the first theme parks to open in the city. SeaWorld has been growing and changing over the past thirty years, and currently offers two hundred acres of attractions. If you’re enchanted by the sea and mystified by its creatures, the park is perfect for you. Meet the world’s most famous killer whale Shamu, explore the underwater circus of Odyssea, or be amazed by acrobatic dolphins in the Blue Horizons performance. View exotic and friendly sea creatures, such as dolphins, stingrays, sharks and penguins in their homes at the park.

After those long days of exploring the different parks and attractions around the city, you’re going to need some food to gain your energy back. After a long day of rides and animals, a relaxing atmosphere might be what you’re looking for. Gargi’s, a popular Italian restaurant in the city offers just that. Gargi’s offers a variety of delicious Italian cuisine, including popular dishes like Chicken cacciatore and Spicy Shrimp Fra Diavolo. The service is excellent and the outside setting at sundown is breathtaking.

If you’re looking for something more exotic, Bahama Breeze, located on International Drive creates a island feel throughout the restaurant. Wood shutters and bright colors surround you as you munch on Conch Fritters, Coconut chicken, or sip from the full bar.

Finally, it’s time to rest. Orlando offers a range of hotels with varying prices. The Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress hotel is a four star hotel, adjacent to Disney World and Epcot. The hotel offers a game room, sundeck, waterslides, outdoor pool and five restaurants. Prices begin at 189 dollars per night. If you’re looking for something with a calmer atmosphere, The Homewood Suites offers all the comforts of home. The hotel is within walking distance of over 100 shops and restaurants. Prices begin at 109 dollars.

Whether you’re looking to explore the mysteries of the ocean or take a whirlwind ride through Hollywood’s films and film stars, Orlando offers something that everyone in the family will enjoy. With its various hotels and satisfying cuisine, everyone leaves with a story to tell and a smile on their face.
