Denver

With hundreds of activities, amazing scenery, and breath taking views, it is clear why tourists pick this destination. Who wouldn’t want to experience such serenity? No matter what kind of vacation you want to have, Denver can easily provide you with fun and excitement. Looking for something a bit more diverse? Colorado has some of the best restaurants, outdoor activities, and zoos. For this reason, Denver is an all year hot spot, regardless of what season it is.

If you are looking for an affordable hotel with a lot of extra amenities, most Denver residents would point you towards the Grand Hyatt. Located in the heart of the city and within the entertainment district, the Hyatt starts at $105 a night. This is a fantastic price, especially when it is just minutes away from all of the main attractions. Looking for great service? The Grand Hyatt also has a full staff that is ready to make your stay comfortable. For this reason, this hotel is highly recommended. From the beautiful architecture to the overly friendly employees, your vacation should be magnificent.

Once you have settled into a hotel, you should directly look at what the city has to offer. If you are a sports fan, you absolutely have to check out Coors Field. This area is one of the most popular spots in Denver, as baseball is one of its pride and joys. Seating over 50,000 people for each game, Coors Field is thriving with excitement. Another great addition to this attraction is that there are walking tours. For only a few dollars you can easily learn about the history of Coors Field and what is represents.

If you are not into baseball, there are plenty of other activities for you to enjoy. Looking to see something different? The Denver Zoo is the perfect trip, if you enjoy looking at different habitats. With over 3000 animals and a set of tropical forests, polar ice caps, and savannas, this place is most certainly a sight to see. One of the reasons why people keep flocking is because it’s affordable. While most zoos overcharge, the Denver Zoo actually makes it affordable. For adults, the tickets are only $9, while children are a low price of $5. Have a child under 3? You’re in luck because the Zoo does not charge them!

After experiencing such excitement from the Zoo, Coors Field, and many other attractions, it is time to get a bite to eat. Regardless of where you visit in Denver, the area has a plethora of restaurants and bakeries. Located at Capitol Hill lies Potager, an American restaurant that will impress any picky eater. Although it is extremely crowded and usually packed at every hour, this eatery is known for its comfy atmosphere and amazing food. Potager also changes its menu every month, to keep visitors on their toes.

While some think Colorado is like any other state, Denver provides more than you could imagine. From entertainment to fancy restaurants and attractions, this city is constantly thriving. It flourishes when the tourists visit, especially when it can show off what it has to offer. Most vacationers always come back for more, always craving the excitement and bright city lights. Regardless of what you are looking for, Denver has it all.
