Boston

Boston USA
Red Sox. Irish pubs. Harvard University. These are the three things most people think of when they hear of the ever so cultural Boston. With its historical streets and hundreds of monuments to see, it is no surprise that thousands of tourists each year flock to this hot destination. After all, Boston does have some of the best universities in the country, as well as a diverse range of restaurants and forms of entertainment.

The beauty of this city is that there are things to do for everyone. If you are a sports fan, Fenway Park is just a walk away, and you can easily catch a game from a popular team. If this is not your cup of tea, there are dozens of other activities to choose from. For instance, a great day time activity would consist of taking a Duck Boat Tour. This boat takes you around the entire city, and points out the must see monuments. Are you a movie buff? There are also tours that show you movie scenes that were shot in the downtown area.

Once you have checked out Fenway Park or taken a Duck Tour, you must hit Fanuel Hall. If you are in love with shopping, this area is full of high end stores, as well as unique shops with one of kind jewelry. It is a haven for anyone who is looking to splurge on clothing. After feeding your shopping craving, it is smart to take a break and enjoy the more cultural aspects of Boston. There are hundreds of tours that will guide you through the cobblestone streets of the city and show you where Paul Revere once lived, as well as the Bunker Hill Monument. Still looking for more history? Boston tour guides will be more than happy to show you where the infamous Boston Tea Party event occurred in 1773. Visitors are able to walk the decks and experience the event which happened centuries ago.

With all of this sight seeing and walking, it can get tiring once the sun sets. If you are looking for a wonderful restaurant, most residents will recommend the North End. This Italian inspired part of the city cozy and full of an array of restaurants. From gourmet food to inexpensive pizzas, there is something for everyone. Most people enjoy Pizzeria Regina, as it is one of the most popular eateries in Boston. With extremely inexpensive food and a great Boston atmosphere, there are always lines out the door. Therefore, it is smart to get there a few hours early.

Regardless of what you want to see in Boston, there are hundreds of different opportunities. The entertainment is also top notch, as it includes the Theatre district – complete with the Charles Playhouse and regular Blue Man Group shows. Boston is a city that thrives on its culture and the people who live there. It is a town with pride, history, and a sense of nostalgia. No matter what you are looking to get out of Boston, you will easily go back home knowing that it is one of a kind. Boston brings out the best in people, and it is their hospitality that always brings tourists back.
