Bought one of these for a Remington 597 .22LR that I recently purchased. Works exactly as described and looks even better. At the price I paid for it you can't go wrong. Very sturdy, and easy to attach. Getting it tight on the barrel can be difficult if you just do it by hand, so I used a small Allan wrench to crank it on real tight.

I was excited when I got this in the mail today but when I put it on my mini-14 it seemed pretty loose. I tightened it up a bit (with my fingers) and the damned threads striped. I'm hoping I can get my money back for this one.
