This knife has all you could ask for. It's heavy but not cumbersome, has a sharp blade, and the release is awesome. It has a really good feel to it. I've owned a few knives in my time, and I would recommend this one first.

So, I like this knife. That is exactly what I wanted. Because:
1. First quality - blade big and thick, fit well in the frame (does not come loose), frame is metal with rubber insert. Knife seems to be little heavy, but for me it is good (I can feel it in my hand)
2. Second functionality - easy to open (either right or left hand), very fast to open, and, of course, sharp
3. Third appearance - it is big enough (fit in hand), blade really solid and thick, handle looks nice and good shape - very easy to put it inside the pocket
And additionally. I wanted perfect knife for every day using, I've done research and I did not come with final decision. So, I read review for that knife and was surprised why people rate that knife for '5' or '4'. Now I know.
This is a GREAT every day knife (I am not gonna fight with this knife or use it like a tool for home repair).
Every day it looks good, solid, easy and also SHARP!!! That is exactly what I wanted.
I purchased that knife and another for my buddy, but not kershaw. Another knife (I do not want to say what kind, but it is also good brand) good too, but big difference is a blade. Kershaw blade more thicker and looks solid, and also better fits in the frame.
So, as I said, I like it.
And also it is MADE IN USA!!! (for me it is very important).

I'm more familiar with the Kershaw Leek, so this knife is a bit different. Assisted opening is still great, but this is a larger knife than the Leek. Also, it only has the thumb option for opening. However, since it is larger you have a better grip and the handle is textured aiding in your grip by minimizing slippage. Also, due to larger size knife is more noticeable in your pocket, but not cumbersome. Overall so far, this is a great knife, but I still like my Leek better.

Shipping was fast and i was very happy with my purchase. THe knife is super fast opening. The first time i opened it before it was broken in i actually cut myself. It wasnt to bad and its broke in now so the name really says it all. This thing is a blur when you give it a slight flick with your thumb. Great knife and even better price

I have had this knife for a while now, and it is awesome! The tortion bar assisted opening mechanism is smooth, yet abrupt and very fast. You can feel the quality of this knife when you hold it, and there will be no doubt in your mind that it is well made when you push that thumb stud and the blad flicks out.
This is a solid knife. It clicks firmly into place when deployed, and there is no "play" when the blade is locked into place.
The only problem is the Kershaw Blur that amazon sells has a 440 stainless blade (Not the best metal for floding knives because its soft), but the one I bought has a 14c28n blade which is wicked strong.
If you are looking for a steal of a deal on a top of the line tactical folder, this Kershaw Blur is for you.
I carry this knife every day, and it sutis me very well.
