I have owned several of these over the years. It is a good compact and reliable flashlight. The only downside is that it uses AAAA batteries. These batteries are hard to find and expensive. You can find this light with different color barrels and LED's. The white led is good general purpose use. The red led is good military use. The UV led is good security use. I cannot comment on the green,yellow or blue led models. There may be some I do not know of. The barrel size is comparable to a standard ink pen. Light output is good. I am ready to move on to a slightly larger and brighter Streamlight that is more affordable to operate. The battery life is good and the light output is decent. Depending on your needs this may be what you want. I have read other reviews stating a 9 volt battery contains six AAAA batteries. If this is true than it may not be as costly as I have stated. I think most people would still like this light overall. I have used this Stylus model for over six years. Also it is made in the USA. It also has a lifetime guarantee.

I bought this with the idea of replacing my battery eating incandescent pen light I have used throughout medical school. Unfortunately, as with most LEDs the light is far too "white" to accurately assess say a sore throat for erythema. It is also too bright for pupillary light reflexes. Around the house for odd and end jobs though, this puppy rocks. I rarely use my maglight these days with this light around.

This flashlight helps one easily get back to sleep after a night time bathroom trip. And it doesn't disturb anyone else, unlike white lights. The AAAA batteries are obtainable at Batteries Plus. A great buy.

I needed a pocket flashlight for my work but found that I use this light constantly: walking to the car, taking out the dog or just looking for something in the pantry. Very handy. Glad I have it.
