I'm very happy with these shoes. They keep my feet dry during walks through wet snow and slush. I bought them for early morning walks when the grasss is wet with dew and I think they will work great. I bought them in 12 wide and these shoes are actually wide enough for me to wear a thick pair of socks. Haven't had them long enough to rate the wear of the sole, but so far, so good.

update. March 4, "In Transit". The 'range' of delivery dates was Feb 26 to March 3. Did not happen. Merrell's are a good product but do not buy them from Amazon as long as they use SHOE PARLOR. Since I needed them by today for a trip departure tomorrow I will return them when (?) they arrive.

I made sure that I got a bit wider shoes, as I had a fear that the regular ones would be tight.

Shoes are very comfortable for walking; I go on the weekends for walking on trails or light hiking for a couple of hours and found these shoes pretty good for the purpose. I think they will last me for quite a long time. Pretty happy with my purchase.

I'm starting to hate this watch because it actually works well at predicting good fishing times and the alarm feature has been teesing me, lettimg me know all of the good fishing moments that I'm missing out on here at work. It's a great thing to have when you can actually get out to go fishing! I do wish there was a watch that had all of these features and also included a tide chart. The place I put my boat in at is too low at low tide so that would be a very helpfull feature to have. Other than that I love it - but starting to hate it!

I liked this watch and all it does. I'm a guy with a small wrist, so the size of the face is perfect. However, the band, does not adjust down to my wrist size( 7 1/4). Also, Casio doesn't make a different replacement band, and the face is so unique you can't buy an after-market band because it won't fit. Sadly, I had to return the watch because I can't use it.

Before you decide based on my 1-star not to buy these, my review is based on the pair I received. I have had two other of these, but in brown/light brown. Both are very comfortable and I've worn them in the snow. My feet were warm and I didn't slide. (They're probably not designed for snow, though).



With these black units, my heals kept coming out. Took me a while to figure out why. The elastic on the top wasn't strong enough -- not like my other colors. I called Merrill, and they sent me new inserts and I wore thicker socks. Same thing. I just sent them to Merrill for inspection. Based upon the new ones they send me, I may change this review.
