This Tenacious G-10 Spyderco knife came very fast from Amazon, and I must say, I really like the way it handles. Even for a cheaper knife, Spyderco knows where to NOT cut corners. It still has great bushings that make this knife lightning fast, as well as mounting holes to put the clip on wherever you prefer it. About the blade: When I got it, there was absolutely no play in the blade, the jimping was great, and the blade was quite sharp. It is a softer steel than others I have, but for the price I am not complaining. Another great feature about this knife is that it is relatively light, they cut holes in the liner to save a bit of weight, making the knife very easy to live with. I use SOG, Benchmade, Spyderco, etc. and all of them are fantastic in their own way, but this Tenacious G-10 is the "best buy" from me.

Why some people expect it to be as good as other knives that cost 2 - 3 times as much is amazing to me. For the price point, this is a spectacular deal on a Spyderco. I've owned other higher-end Spyderco knives that cost over $130 and to be honest, you definitely can tell the difference between them and the Tenacious...but at $28 for a Tenacious, I got way more than I expected. It's a great every day carry (EDC) knife. It's lightweight but still has a decent heft to it, G-10 has a nice tackiness to it that allows a sure grip, reliable frame lock, and a pocket clip that allows for point up/down carry.



This knife was such a great deal, I actually bought both the Tenacious plain edge and the serrated blade. IMHO, I'd stick with the plain edge unless you really need a serrated blade for a particular purpose. Not sure if there's a manufacturing flaw in the frame lock of the serrated blade Tenacious, but the frame lock on the serrated blade doesn't seem to snap into place as securely as the frame lock on the plain edge Tenacious.



Anyways, for the price point, this is an outstanding EDC knife with some great features. Is it your typical Spyderco quality? Not really, but what the hell do you expect for $28?
